Salt & Light Market is a mobile shop inside of an old bread truck. We specialize in vintage & handmade home decor along with all natural bakery goods. Inside the truck, you will find finished retail space made up of shiplap, built-in cabinetry and hardwood floors. Salt & Light Market is owned and operated by Ariann Blake. The idea to open a shop came from our belief that big city ideas can work in our small town. We wanted to be a part of the exciting revitalization happening in Oskaloosa. So we asked ourselves, how can we make that happen? A dream was born to use this business to improve our community. The name for the shop comes from Matthew 5:13-15 which calls us to be a light in the world. Through Salt & Light Market, we can do that by using our talents and a portion of our profit to bless others in the Oskaloosa area. You will find us at most community events, including the Oskaloosa Farmers Market and at local flea markets. Throughout the year, we will also be parked at random locations around town and are available for private events big and small. Check us out on Facebook and Instagram to find the truck's location. Come help us make our dream a reality, stop by and see us at Salt & Light Market!
